With 160 years of business under its belt, Doerre Hardware has shifted locations and ownership, but one thing that has remained consistent is the ''family'' feel-- having been in the Doerre family for 150 of those years, and now under the ownership of Ray Johnson.

There are not too many small towns which can boast a hardware store with 17,000 items in inventory. But, beyond that, also have an owner who has a background varied enough to give expert advice in anything from plumbing to electrical, paint to hardware.
