  • Tower Hill State Park
    5808 County Road C, Spring Green

    Tower Hill is a complete natural recreation experience that also offers a fascinating glimpse of Wisconsin history.  Hike to the top of the bluff where an old shot-tower and smelter house have been reconstructed and an exhibit explains the shot-making operation.  The park also has eleven campsites, hiking trails, picnic area, and a canoe landing.  For park information, please visit:  https://dnr.wi.gov/topic/parks/name/towerhill/

    Governor Dodge State Park
    4175 Highway 23, Dodgeville

    Located eight miles south of Spring Green, this park is one of Wisconsin’s largest, with 5,270 scenic acres of hills, bluffs, and deep valleys, plus two lakes and a waterfall.  The park offers hiking, biking, horse trails, camping, picnic areas, swimming, boating, and fishing.  Hunting is available in-season with proper permits. Winter activities such as skiing, snowmobile trails, winter hiking and snowshoeing, sledding, and ice fishing are also a favorite past-time for visitors.  By foot or bicycle, you can get to Governor Dodge by way of the Military Ridge State Trail.     White Mound County Park
    S7995 White Mounds Drive, Hillpoint

    A 1,100 acres, White Mound is the largest park in Sauk County, and features 104-acre White Mound Lake.  Facilities are available for camping, hiking, fishing, cross-country skiing, hunting, swimming, snowmobiling, and horseback riding.  For park information, please visit:  https://www.co.sauk.wi.us/parksandrecreation/white-mound-park

    • South Park:  Carpenter Lane
      • Features baseball diamonds, picnic shelter, playground, and skateboard park.
    • North Park:  Daley Street
      • Features a baseball diamond, tennis courts, playground, picnic shelter, and public outdoor pool.

    Spring Green Dog Park
    Shifflet Road

    Village of Plain Parks

    • Plain Community Park:  925 Parkview Avenue. 
      • Features pavilion, baseball diamond, tennis courts, playground, and a public outdoor pool.
    • Plain Lions Park:  West end of Oak Street. 
      • Features a small baseball diamond.
