Busy Bees Gardening Registration is Open
The popular Busy Bees summer gardening program for kids 3-9 is again being offered at the River Valley Area Community Gardens. Sessions are on Tuesdays June 10-July 29 from 9:15AM to 10:15AM. A Meet and Greet is scheduled for Sunday, May 18 at 3PM.
Each child gets their own 2’ x 4’ raised bed to grow plants of their choosing. Along with tending the beds, each session includes an activity. The focus is on fun as well as gardening.
RVACG provides a variety of seeds and plants and the use of garden tools.
A parent or caregiver must accompany the kids to the sessions. The cost is $10/child or $15/family. There are scholarships available. All are welcome. For more information or a registration form, please contact rvbusybees24@gmail.com.
